For wine or beer. My confusion was not knowing what the pieces were for. There's no diagram or directions on how to us them. I had no clue what the bottling wand was. I still don't know how to us the clamps that came with the auto siphon. BUT, this is the St after kit you should get. And, North Mountain was quick to answer my novice question. However, watch all the videos on hydrometers. There was no instructions The product looks great but I do not know how to use it because there are no instructions I am a first time person trying to learn how to make wine maybe I ordered the wrong thing I would be more careful next timeFun! I made a batch of persimmon wine (it's in the secondary now).... Having everything in one spot for my learning curve is great! I am a novice at this! I am not fond of the 'theif' as it takes forever to get the testing tube filled up, but after using the siphon to move the liquid, I'll just use it to test in the future. You need to invest in a nice very long slim bottle brush to clean these skinny little things, but I had one on-hand. I had to use the internet to figure out how to use the hydrometer, and how to use the bubbler vents... I know it is silly to those of you with experience, but as I said, this is my first time. My 2 leftover yeast packages expire in 2 months, so I'll need to make more wine quick (since it's Fall in Kansas and homegrown fruit is mostly done, I'll probably get more yeast next spring)Everything arrived in great condition. The only issue is the campden tablets were not marked so I hope that’s what they are. Could be better instructions our actually ANY instructions on how to use the bottle filler and corker. But overall very happy with the quality of this product. Would definitely recommend.Used this kit to cork some 375mL bottles of mead. I'm a super novice and was able to get this to work for me without any issues. I just soak the corks in some sanitized warm water first to loosen them up a bit to make them easier to press into the bottles. The press itself is sturdy and doesn't seem like it'll ever break. The black covers are cool too, I just hold the bottle over a flame on my stove to get the shrink-wrap effect. The bottle-filler attachment is also really handy for filling up lots of bottles with minimal spillage. Overall a great purchase for anyone who wants to fill and bottle drinks!Received this kit, missing sterilizer. Didn't realize it until I had everything prepped and ready. Pretty annoying, since you pay a premium for a kit so you don't have to buy everything separate, and here I am, ordering sterilizer hoping it gets here tomorrow..EDIT: Filled out a warranty claim and received the missing item very quickly afterwards.I have long wanted to try making my own wine but didn't know where to get all the stuff necessary. I saw this and it appeared to have everything I will need - AND IT DOES - I got it in 2 days and quickly opened it up - from looking through the equipment and supplies it appears to be the complete kit to make wine, it even comes with detailed instructions on how to use the equipment and a recipe book that has directions for everything from simple fruit wines to potato and onion wine. I will be starting a batch this weekend, strawberry I think, and I will update after I get it going to let you know how well the instructions workout for me -The equipment in this kit is very complete. You have everything you need to get started EXCEPT for detailed instructions. You get a detailed product list but no instructions what is what or directions on how to use them. I’ve purchased several other books and joined different groups to get the information lacking with this kit. After buying this kit from Amazon, I checked and could have gotten it cheaper directly from the manufacturer, so check that out too.El funcionamiento del aparato es el ideal, los corchos que incluye se ajustan a la medida standar de las botellas comunes de vino de 3/4 y 1lt, entran sin maltratarse.La entrega fue en menor tiempo de lo estimado, sin embargo no llego completo , la fotografía (la cual ya modificaron) no corresponde los artículos que incluye (al menos, al momento que realice la compra).Looks like a great set and deal came early and can't wait to get started but unfortunately it doesn't But should have at least one stick on thermometer but ordered on prime $14.49 for 10. Celsius only but great deal?SO I'll get back to you after I have a first time crack at it?
